Yarn Sorting!

I've got so much yarn and not enough time to crochet!  I've been sorting my yarn today and had forgotten about so much of the beautiful yarn I have.  I'm working on a few more slippers for some friends... and then what?  I just don't know!

Toasty Toes

Finished my slippers!  Aren't they adorable?!  Thanks to ohmygoodknits for the pattern!

Finished!

The final product!  Modeled by my oldest daughter.  It's really more of an adult size, but she loves it and wanted to try it on.

It came out a little wider than I wanted, but still cute.  I bought this pattern on crochetspot.com.

Old Projects

Still working on that hooded scarf, so for now I thought I'd share pictures of some older stuff I've made!

I tried to add them in order of their creation, but this photo uploader is screwy.  :)
The hats at the top are some of the first things I have crocheted in years.  I did some 10(ish) years ago, but none of it was worth photographing.  The green and white scarf is the most recent.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to add a picture of my hooded scarf.

It'll Be Fun

I decided to create this blog to keep track of all my crocheting (or whatever other crafty thing I may be doing...).  I think it'll be a fun way for me to make sure I finish projects and keep being creative!  I'm not too good at making my own patterns yet, but I'm working on it.  I'd love any feedback from any other crafters!

Right now I am working on a cute hooded scarf from crochetspot.com.  I love lots of patterns from this site!  I'm working with a beautiful sage green chenille yarn (softest yarn ever!) that my SIL got me for Christmas.  I am also working with my new bamboo hooks from my wonderful husband!

I recently found a new blog to follow.  (The Planner and the Procrastinator).  Check them out!  They're going to be teaching others to crochet some really cute stuff... and although I know how to crochet, it's always fun to learn new or different techniques.  And through this site, I'll be starting a new project soon!

Well, that's all for now, but I'll add pictures of my scarf once it's completed.
